Hey, Tom, long time no see.
I still do not solve the handoff. But now I found a new question about cloudlet command line tools.
At first, command line and web client operations are not synchronized yet, didn't they? The process of my operation is like follow:
What I want to do is use android app to control cloudlet like create overlay and synthesis. So I think if I use android app to call physical machine to do some command line operation about cloudlet maybe solve this problem. Next I sorted out the commands and test them. I started with the command
It showed me that I need to provide a path to my base disk, and I can use the command
But this command show me empty!
That is why I think the command line operations and the web client operations are not synchronized yet.
And after some study about this question, the solution I found is like follow(but I didn't solve by this way):
I checked the dashboard -> images -> images details and found the "image type" is snapshot. Then I use command
to check the snapshot and I found that I had one myvm-disk (myvm is the name of my VM), two myvm-diskhash, two myvm-memhash and two myvm-memory. Then I found their address through google. Because it showed me I need the path to my base disk, so I used the path
/var/lib/glance/images/UUID (a very long string of numbers, it's same as the uuid)
But it didn't work, whether myvm-disk or myvm-diskhash. The error message is same, "connot find hashvalue for /path".
By the way there is a small question:
When I deployed the cloudlet, if I shutdown the machine, when I boot it, my linux will be in command line and do not have graphic interface. Is it right?
Thanks for your support.
